There is very little info on the Archos web site about it, bit you can see a glimpse at it on the Software download page: http://www.archos.com/download/firmware.html My guess is that Archos is saving some money by "upgrading" the Recorder model to use the same casing and hardware platform as the FM Recorder, with LiIon battery etc. However, some lucky people have discovered that their V2 recorder is in fact an FM recorder in a V2 recorder case, with the FM radio mounted. BTW, do not confuse this with the earlier discussions in the mailing list about "V2 boot roms" regarding the flash version of Rockbox. This is not the same thing.
