mhhh - i think we should just wait....
ì don`t know how long the petition is online (does anybody?) - but signing-rate was
at a "one every few minutes" interval when i watched it.... i`m really curious, how many
>Right now there are a number of people pestering Archos to change.
mhhh - pestering? sure - they would like seeing archos change their mind. but i think
one more (even more interesting) reason for this petitition is, that many really like
to come to know, WHY archos has a problem with OSS for their products.
i will not buy one of their MM Products in the near future(no need) - but i have a
problem when i see a company acting like this. what`s the problem to tell the people,
why they decided to stop avos? to say "no" is ok - but keeping the reason fot that "no"
imagine, if this really is a result of that fact, that archos just wants to avoid
possible conflict with riaa or something like that.... that would be valuable
information, and one should tell the world: hey - look how far things have come!

mhhh - we are in the "technical world" here - i`m sure very few people would write a
petition by hand...especially to a high-tech company.
slaaaaaashdooooottttt! are u hearing us?
