Yes. Rockbox 2.0 doesn't exist for the v2 recorder. They use different
scrambling, so you can't just use the standard recorder version.

This is both good and bad news.

Good: the scrambling is correct, we know how to get a firmware to start on the
v2.

Bad: something basic/init seems to be lacking or bugging for Rockbox to run
fine on the v2. The amount of developers with a v2 and some clues to debug
this is: 0 (zero), with only very slim chances to change... And I don't think
asking Archos would change anything.

Yes.

We've only made daily-builds for the v2 for a week or so, during which time
we've not experienced much with anything. Thus, I don't think you'll be able
to find a build that works 100% on your v2! :-O

The v2 is so new it really hasn't reached the FAQ entries much yet.
