This is much the same situation that existed with the FMR model a little
under a year ago. Some work was initially done by the core team so that
the firmware could at least load, but without a developer having an actual
unit to test on, nothing much happened for a while after that.

Then myself and a couple of others came along early this year who had FMR
units, and enough coding skills to see what was going on. I got mine in
mid January and found Rockbox a couple of weeks later. It turned out that
there were only a handful of fairly minor issues that needed fixing. It's
just that some of them were difficult to find for a while!

Hopefully the V2 will work out much the same, once someone with the skills
and a unit happens along, or one of the existing team gets hold of a unit.
