I just flashed my recorder with the link you put here. Then I
rolled my own version from the latest CVS and some patches I enjoy
using and then flashed that.

However the battery display did not show up on the Status Bar until I
adjusted the clock to 24 hour and then back to 12 hour, and even then
when I restart it is again missing.
