While everyone knows it is wrong to do this sort of thing, I don't see it as
fundamentally different from people (myself included) stealing MP3's,
movies, games, retail or shareware software, or even snippets of coding,
etc. from various online sources. In other words, if you steal other
people's intellectual or artistic property and don't give them the
appropriate financial payment, or in the case of OS software, verbal
acknowledgement (payment), it is all stealing.

My point is not to be too hypocritical in judging another's actions unless
you have never downloaded a single thing that did not belong to you without
providing fair compensation to its' author. Should they fix the credit?
Yeah. But then should I not be downloading other people's work and using
it? Yeah. Do I anyway? Yeah.
