Put an '_' before the name, that forces it to be alphabetically first.
I have a directory for playlists, called _playlists, I did the same with
_data (non-music info) and _new (mp3s that haven't been cleaned up with
MP3 Gain, tags checked etc.).

Hey programmers! What is the alphabetical order for text on Rockbox?
I've noticed that some 'special' characters are last in the alphabet,
some are first.

is there a way to change the order in which files are displayed? i'd
like
to see playlists at the top. that way when i browse into a directory
with
50 folders and a bunch of files, but one playlist that will play all
those
folders & files, i don't actually have to arrow around looking for it.
