I'm not sure if video playback of the DOOM intro constitutes DOOM - but
your promises are good ...I was NOT disappointed :)

I have to know one thing ...Are there any grey-scales on the screen or is
my brain just inventing them?

What is the .rvf format?

I'm sure you're way ahead of me on this, pause, ffwd, rew? How about
backlight=ON during play?
