seems that there are several dozens of hdd based mp3 players now.....
found this one:

looks nice, too - and it is cheap.

perhaps it would be useful to evaluate which hdd based mp3 players could _potentially_ run rockbox (with appropriate modifications)
?
i would like to continue to use rockbox AFTER the "archos aera" and i`m really thinking about: buying another recorder 20 "mignon
edition" to have have one if the other one gets damaged or stolen - or should i wait for the forthcoming ultimate "rockbox-device"
from another manufacturer?

it would be cool to see rockbox evolve as THE os-replacement for mp3-players.
