I get it. And yes, I agree 25 minutes is a lot. After all, we have a dual CPU
(MP 1900+) running this list and it is hooked up on a 2mbit connection, it
should be able to work pretty swiftly.

My guess is that majordomo is sending mails synchronously, and that it has
problems to send to a bunch of people that it tries to reach before it sends
mail to you. But I haven't done any research so I might be completely wrong.
