Date: Sat, 20 Dec 2003 14:32:38 +0100 I have a Archos Jukebox 15 Recorder with Rockbox 2.1 (flashed) now for a couple of days but I've got some problems with charging. I understand that the charger does not power the jukebox but only the batteries (which power the jukebox). When I listen to music for a couple of hours (or load files via usb) the batteries get empty and the jukebox turns itself off. That should be normal. But my problem is - when I plug in the charger in, it doesn't start charging. The display comes up but fades out directly. I guess that the batteries even don't have enough power to start the charging process. Is that normal ? The only solution I've come to is to put the batteries in my cordless phone, let the phone charge them about 10 minutes and put them back to the jukebox and plug the charger in. Then the jukebox has enough power to start the charging process. I've ordered a set of extra batteries with an external charger to avoid that problem in the future, but it's not a very elegant solution don't you think ? And sometimes, the charger just doesn't start charging even if the batteries have some power. I've got the Deep Discharge function turned off. Does anybody have a solution ?
