Date: Sun, 21 Dec 2003 09:40:00 -0500 (EST) Rockbox availability would be very desirable, but not a deal breaker IF the vendor supplied software was any good. So I guess that would be a 4. Features, sound quality, and ruggedness would make the decision. I especially want scheduled recording (that is a 5). I have had two Archos units fail, both just barely out of warranty. I had them repaired by a third party, after deciding that Archos support was worth than useless.
