Date: Sun, 21 Dec 2003 19:43:27 -0500 In the long term we need to make the settings in F2 and F3 user-customizable. In the longer term, we need to separate the "controller" functions, like buttons, from the functionality. This will also make porting to other machines (with physical buttons) easier. -----Original Message----- From: owner-rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se [mailto:owner-rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se]On Behalf Of TJ Hunter Sent: Sunday, December 21, 2003 7:21 PM To: rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se Subject: Re: Upside down From what I understand so far on this thread, you are talking about replacing the 'down' setting in the f3 menu from 'LCD Mode' to something that Rotates the Display 180 degrees. Can't we just add the option to the f2 or f3 menu instead of replace one that already exists? It seems to me that there is room for an 'up' option on both the f2 and f3 screen. If that's what you're already planning on doing, please forgive me and ignore this message. :) -TJ [IDC]Dragon wrote: >>the feature will still be in the main menu >>i choose that one because i think that invert feature is less usefull than >>upside down > > > At least you won't change it that often, this ony depends on personal taste > only. > The upside down depends on current usage, and that can change quickly.
