After browsing on the web site it seems that there is no support for it right now, however it's not clear to me whether this is a choice or just because no one has bothered to do it yet. So I would be interested to know for which reason it's not supported (yet?) and how I could help to have it supported ? I'd also have some general questions : 1 - it seems that the Archos firmware are somewhat scrambled (saw it also in the mail archives) and that the scrambling algorithm for the Gmini is not the same than for the machines rockbox currently supports. Can anyone confirm this or is it just speculation ? 2 - does anyone know what kind of CPU & chips the gmini uses ? This obviously has an impact on the amount of work needed to adapt rockbox to it (new cross compiler and so on). I have not opened my gmini yet but I'm willing to do it if it's necessary to gain such knowledge. 3 - I have been told on the IRC channel, that the new LCD (which seems to be bitmap based instead of character) might be an issue regarding rockbox running on the gmini. How much work do you estimate it might require to adapt rockbox to a fully graphical display and would this eventually require a fork ? I have a bit of time available for the moment so I'm willing to contribute it on having rockbox run on the gmini 120. Your advices and suggestions are more than welcome ;) Thanks.
