This will be interesting for Linus:
"Update VBR file" (the rockbox function) aborts with the message "Not a
VBR file" on recordings done with rockbox. On some recorded files it
works fine, on others recordings it aborts.
The example http://www.carangg.de/R031227-171909.mp3 was recorded with:

Feq: 44.1kHz
