Hi,

Just popped up to say I've been lurking since 14/9/03, and I just got
delivery of my Rockbox... I mean... my Archos today.

[slobber ... drool]

First thing I stuck onto it wasn't Rockbox, but a few Matrix Soundtracks.
Come on, I had to hear what she sounded like, right? <big grin>

Ten minutes later, installed Rockbox ... and oh man ... it does feel good
to have that sweet, sweet piece of software, mmm, arghllgh </homer>

I ordered direct from Archos in France on 26/11 - and they ran out of
stock. I know I should have ordered elsewhere, but they were all to
expensive to deliver to Ireland, and I bagged some schweet extras when I
bought it (carry case and stereo mike were free). Also have the car kit and
the remote control.

Can you imagine how I felt waiting for it?

Anyway, I'm going to bed it in for a while, and since it's one of the 20gb
JBRs with the black bumpers, I can dump the stock batteries and stick in
some real power (arh arh arh) </tooltime> ;) Once I'm confident enough with
it, I'll flash it - checked the hw info, and no pesky ??'s (wahoo!)

Anyway, just thought I'd write so you know that you have another convert in
the group, and to thank the developers
