Same problem here when recording digitally to MiniDisc. The first 1-2 seconds
of the first track are lost, for the following tracks I usually only lose seconds
on an mp3 bitrate change.

This would still cause trouble when mp3s with different bitrates are played
- I'd prefer an optional lead digital silence you could define if you need it.
