It would be great if someone would be capable of updating Dave Chapman's old CUE PATCH. U can find it here: http://rockbox.haxx.se/mail/archive/rockbox-archive-2002-09/1078.shtml Some info about .cue files: You rip the whole CD as one mighty wav, then encode it as a single mp3. This is great, but you've lost all the track information! .cue is the solution. You rip the CD as a single wav, encode it as normal (say as myfile.mp3). You create a .cue file from your CD (EAC does this, for example... why would you use any other ripper?) Call this cue file myfile.cue. Stick it in the same directory as myfile.mp3, and play the mp3. The cue file will be detected, and the information extracted, and displayed. Midnite was so kind to put it in a recent build but it seems to have some flaws. For example you CAN see the markers on the progress bar of the mp3 but it will only skip forward to marker 1. When u press the right button again it skips back to 0:00 again. I really hope someone will take the time to look at this since I would love to be able to use this great feature on my rockbox. I already know that I can use a cutter to cut the 1 large file but I really would like to use it like this. So I can play a large mp3 (dj mix) and still be able to browse trought it (including artist-tracknames). My hope is that, with the use of dave's old patch it is not to hard for u guyz to put it into a recent build. :-) (but maybe I see it all wrong, hehe) Greetz to all of u!
