This came from Gary Richardi <gary_pr_at_yahoo.com>,
It isn't cheap, but it sounds like a good solution...

I saw your post in the Rockbox mail list archive.
This is what I use in my '02 Ford Escape:
It is an excellent solution and far superior, IMHO, to any FM
Others have mentioned using ha similar device:
I don't know if they're available for your Taurus but it's worth a try.
My P.I.E FRDN-AUX was about $70 (~2 years ago) and simple to
self-install. The Blitzsafe devices run about $130, I believe.
BTW, if this is helpful, feel free to post it to the list. I
unsubscribed because it generated too many inbox messages. I just read
the archive once in a while.
I am now using a Ford Taurus with a stereo that allows for a CD player
to be plugged into it, I think the connection might be in the trunk.
But what I am wondering is if anyone knows if there is a way to connect
an audio source, like my JBR into the stereo directly, such as in the
back of the stereo.
I would rather not use one of those cassette devices, as they are a
hassle, and after a while, they ware out.
