Nice to hear that someone else instead of me is using this
functionality. ;-) (I'm the one who wrote it.)

The old version of this patch is working with a current version. I
uploaded a zip file to my website again (I think the old entry on SF is
already closed):

Things that should be changed *if* this logging function is added to
cvs:

(1) By now, it makes a log entry every time it reads a file. E.g. if
    a file is read 4 times (4 times filling the buffer), there are four
    entries. Instead, it sould make only one entry.
    This could be changed by checking if it's the same filename in
    logentry_playback(char *trackname).

(2) And there should be a menu entry "Logging On/Off", of course.

Björn: If you think the patch should be in cvs now, I could add it to
CVS and change (1). It would be nice if you or someone else could add
(2) then, because I'm not so familiar with the menu stuff.
