i would think that people who are drawn to rockbox would be interested in
whether or not something is open source.
on the rockbox home page the first thing you see is the logo (which says
"open source jukebox firmware") and then the first words after that are:
"Rockbox is an Open Source replacement firmware..."
if that's not setting up expectations i don't know what is.
and while we're on the topic: my recommendation for open source mp3 tag
tool: http://mp3bookhelper.sourceforge.net/ - don't be put off by the
name. i use it for everything now. it takes a little getting used to but
it has way more features than any other tagger i have used. and hey, it's
