If you had listened to what we had to say, you would have understood
that the battery meter is *very* inaccurate. By the way, when you
switched back to Rockbox after running the Archos firmware, did you set
the Battery Capacity to the correct setting before reading the battery

We have an answer for you. The answer is that you simply can't trust the
battery meter, especially not if you try to extrapolate the runtime from
the current percentage. It's all guesswork.
If, however, you find that the runtime really is much shorter, we have
news for you, both good and bad:
Bad: There is a bug in Rockbox which we need to fix, and it will be very
hard, since none of the core developers has a device with such a
difference in runtime.
Good: You didn't have to spend 15hrs for the Rockbox test run. :-)
