If you had listened to what we had to say, you would have understood that the battery meter is *very* inaccurate. By the way, when you switched back to Rockbox after running the Archos firmware, did you set the Battery Capacity to the correct setting before reading the battery status? > I'll post my results in a few days (since it will take me that long). In the > meanwhile, I suggest you guys start looking for some answers ;) We have an answer for you. The answer is that you simply can't trust the battery meter, especially not if you try to extrapolate the runtime from the current percentage. It's all guesswork. If, however, you find that the runtime really is much shorter, we have news for you, both good and bad: Bad: There is a bug in Rockbox which we need to fix, and it will be very hard, since none of the core developers has a device with such a difference in runtime. Good: You didn't have to spend 15hrs for the Rockbox test run. :-) Linus _______________________________________________ http://cool.haxx.se/mailman/listinfo/rockbox Received on 2004-03-02 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
