My FM unit is 1 year old, and I'm carefull : * F3 is about to break (I never used it !) * frequent RLOD (I can't use it in my car, wich was my first reason for buying it...) * I have to push the plug to ear the right channel :( -> That's it ! Going for repair (3 more days and it wouldn't have been under warranty !) I don't know for others HD based mp3 player, but the V2 is identical to the FM. I read someone thought of a "case mod", I suggest solid titanium :) But I'm a happy user :) Especially since RockBox of course. I bought my Archos last October (its an fm) and the f1 key already got pushed in (a leaf spring arrangement seems to have failed). We jury rigged a piece of paper and epoxy as a fix, but I am wondering about the reliability of those things would a plain v2 recorder (if there is such a thing) be a better bet or am I stuck. I am not impressed with the internal robustness of the unit at all, but its great functionally. -- John Covici covici_at_ccs.covici.com _______________________________________________ http://cool.haxx.se/mailman/listinfo/rockbox _______________________________________________ http://cool.haxx.se/mailman/listinfo/rockboxReceived on 2004-03-03 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
