Date: Thu, 4 Mar 2004 07:24:39 -0800 1: (perhaps a manual issue) Some better description of the Quality values 0 to 7 is in order. I assume that they map onto kbps. If so, the corresponding kbps numbers should at least appear in the manual in a table. It shouldn't be too hard to display these on the screen, too, perhaps. 2: I was a little surprised to not see any reference to timer functions in the recorder section. I don't know if this is a documentation issue (I should look elsewhere in the manual), or a missing feature. I have been using Cakewalk Pyro for dubbing audiobook cassettes, and the "record for 100 minutes then stop recording" feature is really handy, it lets me start a recording and take off, or go top sleep. I think that a lot of users like to hook a recording system to a radio and instruct it to start recording at a particular time for a particular duration (to record a specific radio show). If it is possible the manual section on recording should point to the location in the manual where the relevant features are documented. If not, perhaps it should be considered. David H.
