You think that 300 dollars is a lot?
Try looking at virtually all of the products for the Blind, where any device
like the Archos products would cost 1500 to 2000 dollars if they were
available.
This is why so many of us are understandably excited about the possibilities
of TalkBox.

I'm happy to see more players in the mp3 market but they are not exactly
catering to the "value" oriented customer with their product.

The $130 price point was exactly where I wanted to buy. $300 is
prosecutable as larceny in my book.
