I can't tell you how great it is to use an off the shelf item without it costing 5 to 10 times the normal price for the Blind to use it. And the thing that I also really like is that this may open people's eyes to the fact that accessibility is achievable in almost every product; and this will benefit everyone. When people think of the Blind, they don't realize that is including people that don't see well, like your grand parents, or even parents. And also all of the fully sighted people who can often use their eyes for better things. I noticed that in the settings there are no values read, like volume, or contrast settings. Do you plan on putting in some numbers for this? Also, the voice, MSTTS Mary is quite clear, but I was wondering if you could use some AT&T recordings, especially the AT&T voice, Crystal. Crystal sounds quite lovely. I have always thought that although quite intelligible, Mary sounds like a bitch. Thanks again to all who have contributed to this feature. This makes more sense. _______________________________________________ http://cool.haxx.se/mailman/listinfo/rockbox Received on 2004-03-19 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
