When you played the file in A, you actually created a new dynamic
playlist that contains all the songs in the directory. Before shutting
down, if you looked at your playlist you would see that it contained 12
tracks and that's exactly what was there when you resumed. If you want
to create a new playlist that only contains one track from a directory,
use ON+PLAY->Playlist->Insert on the track when nothing is playing.
