Hi, I just joyned yesterday, and don't know whether you also thought of a
way to read the names of the folders and files.

In a 20 gigabite hard drive it would be fantastic! I basically thought of
two combined strategies that could apply to our speeking system:

First, when scrolling a short short click could indicate the movement of the
cursor from one item to the next, than, wresting the cursor could pronounce
a number referring to the item position on the list, and if you know your
structure that is almost enough, but, as a last resort, pressing let's say
"ON" and "RightArrow" could spell the item, and such a feature would require
just 30 more small mp3 files for the letters would be needed, provided you
can intercept the letters composing the lable on the display, but, since you
use different fonts, I suppose that should be feasible.

Thanks, If I have other ideas, I'll write you soon.

p.s. for the pitch meter, I think that stopping playing is not needed, you can
easily realize de differences, and to me, a beep for instance to indicate the "0"
position would be more than enough. Plus interrupting the sound to pronounce
a number could distract you from understanding what speed is best for you.
