Linus, that very file still does not read the genre on my V2. I'm not sure
why this is working for you but not me and Jean. I do not have a custom WPS
(it being a little above my capabilities right now). I look directly at the
genre by pressing F1+on.

It's a little more complicated than that. The source code tells it all.

I received a file from Charles Sweet, with a TCON tag like this:

$00 $00 $00 $0c
$00 $00
$00 "Electronica"

This was parsed incorrectly, but works after my fix. I'd like you to send me
a file as well, so I can test it.
