The last time I saw chat about this, the claim was that there is a
recursion error that no-one knows how to solve. Personally, I still fail
to understand what the problem is - but safe to say, the idea has been on
hold for a l-o-n-g time :( ....maybe, if we are lucky, three people are
working on it independantly in the background and one day there will be
multiple releases of the same patch (much like the 3587 stuff - iirc we've
got four or five rejected 2587 patches atm)
