Date: Tue, 13 Apr 2004 17:32:21 -0400 Hi. Personally, I usually try to get the gain and my wishes, as expressed through the headphones when connected to the unit, to match. Then I hit play. Sometimes the recordings aren't the best but, since I usually want to record voice, fidelity isn't a primary concern. Music is better handled by the phrase from the Simpsons "let someone else do it" :) That is, I usually rip CDs, rather than recording from analog sources. How do you use the recording feature? Do you just go into the start recording screen and hit play and hope for the best. Or do you have a way of adjusting the gain. I'm not sure whether anything on this screen could be voiced since the recording feature may tak over the mp3 buffer.
