Placing all the (./_)dirname.tbx in 1 directory mean more complexity to
organise and generate the files : it requires some kind of index file, or
will be dependant on the folder name -> inconsistency problemes, unused
files...
I'm in favor of simplicity.
In fact I can't think of any advantage of the unique directory... Feel free
to explain !

Nicolas

Ps: I already have folder.jpg (if your using winXP in Thumbernail mode, it
looks great) or even .txt files in my directories, why not a .tbx ?

I agree with placing the files within the .Rockbox directory.
The daft thing is that if they are they are placed there, then they may as
well have the
mp3 extension!
AArrgghh! is there no end to this?

the talkbox files should be elsewhere (say

\.rockbox\dirtalks), out of the way.

Seeing as we have to run a script on a PC to generate the files anyway, I

see no value in them being in the actual directories themselves - the script

can remove old ones, and create missing ones in one hit.

ps. Thanks for making them not .mp3 files - that was my main whine about

this talkbox stuff. Im very pleased to be able to navigate around my rockbox

when on my bike without talking it out of my pocket...
