        Have you turned directory voicing to "on enter" or "while hovering"
in menu/general settings/voice/voice directories? Further, are you running a
build after April 11? Both these things are required to get the machine to
voice directories.

 Yes, Brian Wolven has produced a script to generate the .dirname.tbx

files. It's available at

  http://mysite.verizon.net/brian.wolven/Rockbox/Talkbox.zip

 and requires a copy of the lame MP3 encoder, a copy of which is

available at

   http://www.mp3-tech.org/software/encoders/lamewin32.exe
