        I'm having the same problem. This is a JBR V2. Is anyone with the
units with AA batteries having these problems?

Hi all,
On my fm recorder Using latest build (16 april) i cannot still hear info
about the battery status (main menu > info > Rockbox Info): i get spoken
only some info (free disk space time and date) but not battery status..
I set under general >display settings > the oprion to show numeric values
for the battery status.
This also after a lot more than 1 minute that the unit is on.
