Date: Fri, 23 Apr 2004 11:33:24 -0500 I don't know why anyone would want to hook a printer up via USB when they have a perfectly good parallel port. I sure would not want to waist my USB port on a printer which doesn't need the speed of the USB anyway? Do you have a parallel cable for your printer? If so, use that instead of the USB. So I have this annoying USB icon to 'safely remove hardware.' At no point would I ever want to remove my printer, so this icon is just annoying and worthless to me. I do have this icon hidden in the system tray, but I want to remove it completely. Is there a setting to remove it? A registry hack to remove it? Or some other way to disable this icon? Thank You. _________________________________________________________________ MSN Toolbar provides one-click access to Hotmail from any Web page – FREE download! http://toolbar.msn.com/go/onm00200413ave/direct/01/ _______________________________________________ http://cool.haxx.se/mailman/listinfo/rockbox _______________________________________________ http://cool.haxx.se/mailman/listinfo/rockbox Received on 2004-04-23 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
