Date: Fri, 30 Apr 2004 10:45:33 -0600 I have also seen the Recorder V2 at pretty reasonable prices. Be careful though because there are a lot of them that do not work right out of the packaging. If you get one that works well then it's a pretty good unit. Also, try ebay as there will be recorder/studio/fmr/player units listed from time to time. I have seen used units go for about $150 US. hth...rocker ----- Original Message ----- From: "[IDC]Dragon" <idc-dragon_at_gmx.de> To: "Glenn Ervin at Home" <GlennErvin_at_cableone.net>; "Rockbox development" <rockbox_at_cool.haxx.se> Sent: Friday, April 30, 2004 9:14 AM Subject: Re: Least expensive JukeBox > I know of some other Blind folks that are interested in the Jukebox, but > they cannot afford a unit like the JBR-FM-20. > I was wondering if anyone can definitely say which is the least expensive > unit is that will run the TalkBox feature? The major problem with buying is that all Rockbox-able products are (to my assumption) out of production, distributions running empty as we type. The least expensive would be a used Player/Studio kind of box. Jörg -- "Sie haben neue Mails!" - Die GMX Toolbar informiert Sie beim Surfen!
