See http://www.batteryuniversity.com/partone-5.htm Which states that they've seen significant reduction in capacity even after one year's storage, and failure sometimes occurs after 2-3 years. Wow, that was helpful! Thanks a lot! However, I have one more question. The Archos manual says that the battery will last for the life of the unit (whatever that means). I have had the unit for about a month. Is it wise to buy a battery now, just to be on the safe side (in case they run out and don't resupply in like 1 year or so)? Thanks in advance _______________________________________________ http://cool.haxx.se/mailman/listinfo/rockbox _______________________________________________ http://cool.haxx.se/mailman/listinfo/rockbox Received on 2004-05-10 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
