I've been shopping for a still-in-package 20GB AJR on eBay. Pretty much everything I find looks like the V2/FM form factor, however some of the descriptions say specifically that it takes NiMH "AA" batteries & comes with them - I've even contacted some sellers and they confirm this. Is this possible? If I buy one of these will I get it and find that is, in fact Li-Ion only? Confusing the issue, they seem to freely mix and match the "V2" and "Special Edition" in the model names. Whether they use either of those terms, or neither, seems to have nothing to do with the batteries they claim they take, and, like I said, allll the pictures show the newer, sleeker form factor. ??? Can anyone shed any light before I buy something that's not exactly what I want? Based on what I've read I would GREATLY prefer the NiMH AAs. Are all the sellers that claim that's what I'll get mistaken? Thanks! Mike -- The great thing is, over the internet, nobody knows I'm a dog. _______________________________________________ http://cool.haxx.se/mailman/listinfo/rockboxReceived on 2004-05-12 Page template was last modified "Tue Sep 7 00:00:02 2021" The Rockbox Crew -- Privacy Policy |
