Date: Wed, 19 May 2004 09:44:19 -0600 Could the plugin save a rockbox optimized version of the jpeg and display that once the memory intensive operation is done? Kind of like a single frame RVF movie? After the image is displayed on the screen could the memory be freed and start the music again? Just some ideas. -Lee -----Original Message----- From: rockbox-bounces_at_cool.haxx.se [mailto:rockbox-bounces_at_cool.haxx.se] On Behalf Of [IDC]Dragon Sent: Tuesday, May 18, 2004 9:37 PM To: michael_at_elsdoerfer.net; Rockbox development Subject: Re: JPEG Plugin stops music > Is there are possiblity to change this behavior, so that you can view > your pictures while listing to music? No, sorry. The JPEG plugin needs the mp3 buffer to do its work. (Maybe you noticed that it's by far the largest plugin). The 32KB plugin space would be way too small for this.
