Yes, that means font support is now available within the
grayscale framework. It does not support "real" grayscale fonts
though, but you can have it display Rockbox' native fonts with
selectable shades for foreground and background, or choose to have
the background transparent.
I don't show the font support in the demo yet, because I have to
find some display space for that...
With the upcoming API change there will be more general "draw
modes", so you can choose between the following (for 1-bit
bitmaps and fonts at first):
- draw foreground and background pixels (solid)
- draw only foreground pixels (transparent background)
- draw only background pixels (hollow)
- invert foreground pixels
Another thing that is planned is full clipping support.
