Hi folks.
 
I am new to the list so I just wanted to post a note letting the RockBox
folks know how much I appreciate and enjoy the voice menus and navigation.
This feature has literally brought my JB6000 to life for me. I am blind and
unable to use the display on these units. When I first purchased my jb6000
I had to resort to trying to memorize keystrokes, and folder structures so
that I could use the unit, although in a limited way. This quickly became
very frustrating, and wound up collecting dust in my closet. After hearing
about some of the great things the RockBox team was doing to help make these
units more accessible, I decided to try it for myself and was totally blown
away. I am now thoroughly enjoying my Archos. In fact, I am enjoying it so
much that I would really like to purchase one of the recorder models if I
can find one for sale. So far I have checked Ebay, and Amazon with no luck.
There are several Studio players, but no luck with finding a recorder model
so if anyone out there knows of one for sale in good condition, and for a
fair price, do let me know at ralfaro_at_bellsouth.net.
 
In closing, a big thanks to the RockBox team for making these units so
accessible. I will be using that PayPal link on the home page as a way of
showing my appreciation.
