Is that right?
It is only do-able on the FM unit?
I was going to find someone to go in on another for my V2 recorder, but if
it won't work, I am glad I found out.

The 8MB modification upgrades the Archos RAM from 2 to 8 megs. The chips
are cheap but the installation involves some soldering etc. IF my memory
serves me correctly it is only doable on the FM units.
