It plugs into the jack on the bottom left-hand side of the JBR (assuming you have the "classic" Jukebox/Recorder). When you go to record mode, you should see the input level indicated on the meter. You can also plug headphones into the JBR output jack and you should hear the input in your headset. If you don't see any activity or hear the music, you aren't getting any input. Verify your tape player is putting signal out on the RCA jacks you are connected to. Try increasing the output level of your tape player. Don't forget to hit "play" a second time to start the recording.
