Go to http://www.winzip.com
and download the latest version of winzip
install it on your machine
and run it
file->open ...select the file you got from the rockbox downloads page
set the following options;
extract to: J:\ ...or whatever letter your jukebox is
files: [x] selected files
[x] use folder names
then press the [extract] button
YOU ARE DONE
you may now like to...
windows_key + E
click on J: (or whatever drive letter you use for your jukebox)
look in the files panel and see
a folder called ".rockbox"
a file called "ajbrec.ajz"
WE NOW KNOW IT WORKED
to test it i suggest:
right click the little jukebox drive icon in the system tray
select "disconnect safely" (or similar)
wait for windoze to say "drive disconnected"
if you see ROCKBOX on the screen after about 15 seconds all is well
WOO HOO :)
If not, please reply with the precise point in that list that
things seemed to go wrong.
Good luck dude, updating in the future will be simple because
everything is simple once you know how ;)
