Howdy,
I was looking for the same thing-an external microphone to record live
music. I bought this from www.soundprofessionals.com and am very satisfied
with the results:

The otter box has the two microphones built into the sides and contains a
custom built amplifier powered by a 9v battery. A toggle switch turns it
on. A greed LED shows that it is working.

There's enough empty space to hold a JBR20. You can do all your recording
with the JBR20 inside and the lid closed. I call it my recording studio in
a box.
