Yep! Stu beat me to it. I built the FM25B and use that.
Much better audio quality than the Crane 25mw transmitter,
but twice the price and bigger. It was a tossup but it
was fun building the kit. Broadcasts about 1/8 - 1/4 mile
radius (adjustable power and depends on antenna), so I'll
be using it on the houseboat to broadcast to all receivers
on the boat and shore. Select the frequency via easy-to-set
DIP switches..works great!
Hmm, looks like Ramsey doesn't sell the Crane xmitter anymore.
Here it is:
The guy at Ramsey said you can take off the cover in the back
and turn the screw inside to boost the output to 25mw, same
as the FM25B.
