I don't know if anyone has pointed this out, but check
http://www.core-sound.com. See the Core Sound Binaural
microphones, as well as the Stealthy Cardioids.

Also notice that they are slowly moving to PDAs with
8GB CF cards or MicroDrives to record 24/96 audio!

Can rockbox record to .wav and not only .mp3?!
