NewMP3Technology will repair it for you - probably for far less than a new
player - you get to deal with a company who specialises in our unit, and
could even get 8MB, UART Boot, Serial I/O, White LED mods in the process.

No I don't work for them, but I know how p'5*d off I would be in your shoes
...and that would be my choice.
