this is correct, you just need a simple 'audio like' mono cable (any
other should work if not too long), connect the both grounds to the
external wire and then connect the Ring2 to one of the PIC pins through
the internal wire.
The pullup resistor (value from 5k to 10k) must connect the positive
power of the pic (vcc:5v) to the same pic pin than above.
The PIC pin I choosed is the port B2 (don't remember which pin number it
is, please download the pic data sheet, sorry). it can be easily changed
through one define in the source code.

I don't know what software to use to create a schematic. Sorry for that.

Note: I was told the GNUnilink is not functionning properly yet with the
sony MP40. It has an internal CD which conflicts with the GNUnilink
(they are assigned the same ID)
Maybe it will be corrected soon. maybe not. (as I don't have one)
The HU I choosed was the cheapest (105 euros) and has a tape player.
(ca3700x I think)
