Hi Aman,
The jack on the left side of the bottom panel (left to the USB plug) is
the "analog line in" which can also be used for an external mic.

The analog line out function is achieved via the earphone jack (left
side of the top panel). Somebody in the core team said that adjusting
the volume setting to 93% achieves a 0 dB output on this jack, if I
remember correctly.

The jack on the right side of the top panel is for a coaxial (not
optical) digital SPDIF connection, in or out. For example I use it for
recording the sound of DVDs, direct from my DVD player, setting the
source in Rockbox recording options on "Digital In/Out".
